I understand this hotel/restaurant recently underwent a renovation. A renaissance, really. The rooms were modern, very clean and comfortable. You cannot find a better location to visit the center of Chiavenna or to access the beautiful hiking paths. The restaurant was serving delicious food, and I mean with a gourmet character at reasonable price. The Creamy Zucchini Soup was superb. I cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough.
Clean, spacious rooms, convenient location, polite and helpful staff
The rooms were comfortable, upgraded, and well furnished. The breakfast was very good and well managed. The owner seems to be around and on the property. He is lovely and has a nice personality.

We liked the view and location, room equipment was new and clean. Delicious and varied breakfast with excellent coffee. A restaurant downstairs in the same building is also an asset. Quiet at night - perfect for sound sleep after a journey. A pity we discovered the window blinds in the morning, when they weren't of use anymore ? Bathroom also new and in very good shape.

Lovely place to stay in a perfect location to wander around the old town. Breakfast was great & parking was easy.
The room was clean and the location is obviously great, being next to the train station (but silent) and being 50 meters from city center. The reception was very welcoming and we felt personally appreciated.

There were only 8 spaces for parking. We had to park in the city parking and pay for it
Hotel new and in the very center of Chiavenna. Modern and clean with a view of the mountains. Personell kind and room very nice. Possibility to park inside the structure.
